A DEF LINKED VIEW is a special form of DEFVIEW. This creates a view that incorporates all of the FLDs from the record. This is used by kviewinfo to mark special views that will be omitted from the optimization process.

At runtime a DEF LINKED VIEW performs exactly as a DEFVIEW that includes all the records FLDs definition would.

Compatibility

DEF LINKED VIEW was introduced in KCML 6.60.
