Editing Forms in the Forms Designer

Controls are placed onto the form by selecting the relevant control from the controls palette. The properties of a control are displayed by clicking on the control, which should display the control properties pane. From here various properties can be modified and event handlers for the control can be created.

Frequent editing operations such as alignment, spacing and sizing can be performed by grouping the required controls with the mouse and clicking the relevant button on a tool bar. You can also use the Grid button in the Windows tool bar at the top of the screen to display a grid to make it easier to align objects in your form.

A test mode can be used to quickly verify the behavior of a form. This can be called by clicking the Test button from the tool bar at the top of the screen.
