Often an ODBC application will query the driver for a list of the tables in a database to display in a list box (e.g. MS Query will always do this when creating a new query). With some databases with large numbers of moduules and companies this might produce an unwieldy list so it is possible to define filters for both modules and companies to limit the list to a names set of modules and/or companies.
