Features

• It is a two tier client server design with a server based SQL engine connected to the client ODBC driver over TCP/IP.
• The SQL engine is integrated with the KCML database on the server to maximise query performance and minimize network traffic.
• The driver honors all user permissions and field priorities in the KCML database. Users must log on to the server and can only see those views of the data that their administrator has given them.
• Within these security constraints access is available to all files across all companies and modules.
• Database integrity is guaranteed by the driver enforcing read only access.
• The driver implements the ODBC 2.5 specifications. ODBC 3 specifications are not supported.
